OUR PURPOSE   

COME

Our first purpose is to COME. The greatest thing you can do with your life is to come to Christ to worship. Worship gives you power to live on. A life without worship is a life without a foundation, and a life without a foundation is a life that is headed for trouble. SRBC is committed to providing weekly opportunities for you  to come and worship. Our style is exciting and contemporary, and our services are designed to encourage and inspire you.

CONNECT

Our second purpose is to CONNECT. This means to build friendships with other people who are growing spiritually. The Bible calls this fellowship. The fact is, we need each other. God never intended for us to live life alone! And we need relationships that build us up rather than tear us down. SRBC is committed to helping you find and build lasting friendships with other Christians. If you are not active in a Sunday Bible Study group on Sunday mornings, there is a good chance you're missing out on one of the things about the SRBC fellowship, and encouragement in your faith. You truly begin to experience the SRBC community in a SBS group on Sunday morning.

GROW

Our third purpose is to GROW. The number one characteristic of something that's alive is that it grows. God wants up to grow and keep growing for the rest of our lives! We call this discipleship. It's the life-long process of becoming like Jesus. It's where our character is developed. It's where we learn principles for life. It's where we learn how to live lives that please God. We are committed to helping you grow!

SERVE

Our fourth purpose is to SERVE. Eventually, you can't grow anymore until you begin to serve others. The mark of a truly great life is that you put others first. And not only does God want you to serve others, but He has gifted you to do it! God has shaped every believer uniquely, and His desire is for each of us to discover and use our shape in ministry. You can plug into an existing ministry or we can help you begin one that fits you!

GO

Our fifth purpose is to GO. There's no greater privilege than to be on mission with God who created you. His desire is to use you to tell others the great news you have discovered in Jesus! SRBC wants to help you be a lighthouse. We offer Lifestyle evangelism classes. We also will plan and send teams of people on missions trips periodically.
