Our Aim
Mission is one of the ways that SRBC is loving and serving the Church and World. We make it our aim to present people well pleasing before a holy and righteous God (2 Corinthians 5:9-11).

Our Commitment
SRBC has committed to set aside offerings this coming year to support ministries and missionaries all over the world. Our goal is to continue to grow the amount of our missions giving. By God’s grace, we believe that our investment in missions will account for an ever-increasing amount of our total giving as a body, as we continue to grow in faith and in our understanding of the importance of investing in the Kingdom of God worldwide.

Our Missions Mandate
At SRBC we believe that involvement in missions work is not part of a church program; rather, it is a mandate from God Himself. Scripture is clear on this point.

Go and make disciples of all the nations…
Matthews 28:19-20

When Jesus told His disciples to “go,” it was humankind’s first venture into Global Missions. He meant for His disciples to, literally, leave their houses and homelands, to follow His call, and to faithfully deliver the Gospel to those who had not yet heard, those far from Jerusalem. Jesus further instructs believers with these words:

You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth…
